Oconomowoc woman gets 8 years for fatal overdose

A 20-year-old Oconomowoc woman has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a heroin overdose that killed a Hartland man. Dustin L. Williams’ mother found him unresponsive at their home in July 2011, shortly after a visit by Kandice Essmann, his friend since high school. He was pronounced dead at an Oconomowoc hospital.
