Town of Menasha budget sees tax rate decline, slight levy hike

TOWN OF MENASHA — The owner of a $150,000 home will pay about $5 less in taxes next year following the approval of the town’s 2013 budget. The town’s tax levy increased $24,619 (0.32 percent) to $7.8 million, while the town’s assessed value increased $13.9 million — just shy of 1 percent — to $1.46 billion. Full Story: Post Crescent
