TOWN OF MENASHA — Federal funding cuts may temporarily push back some major Wisconsin highway projects, including a suggested two-year delay for the long-awaited U.S. 10-State 441 expansion and U.S. 41 interchange upgrade.
Department of Transportation Secretary Mark Gottlieb detailed “difficult choices” in the budget request he submitted this month. The budget calls for delaying work on seven projects for one or two years, including the Fox Valley project and the busy Zoo interchange in Milwaukee.
