Houdini Plaza construction will begin in January

Construction on a long-awaited $1.5 million overhaul of Houdini Plaza downtown will begin in mid-January. Karen Harkness, the city’s community and economic development director, said bids from contractors are due back this week and a public meeting is scheduled Tuesday at City Hall.
