Firefighters respond to garage fire in Grand Chute

GRAND CHUTE — A house fire at 2918 W. Parkridge Ave. destroyed a garage, car and attic Monday afternoon. Firefighters arrived shortly after 1:30 p.m. to find heavy smoke and flames in the attached garage. The fire spread into an attic space before being put out around 2:30 p.m. “There were no injuries,” said Grand Chute firefighter Jesse Pickett. “There was one occupant home at the time, and she’s been checked out by Gold Cross paramedics.” Full Story: Post Crescent
