De Pere woman gets prison for payroll tax violations

A De Pere business owner will spend 366 days in prison and make restitution of $274,000 for federal tax violations. Lisa Bartz Vanden Elzen, 47, co-owner of Dairy Transport Services LLC of De Pere, was found guilty in U.S. District Court in Green Bay of failing to pay payroll taxes that had been withheld from employee wages.
