Counselors offer support after fatal school bus crash

NEW LONDON — Counselors and grief specialists were available for students in the School District of New London on Monday after Friday’s fatal school bus crash that killed two teenagers. “We’re trying to coordinate counseling and grief services at the high school and also at the middle school to deal with just the fallout of the traumatic experience,” said Bill Fitzpatrick, district administrator.
