Appleton police search for church thief

APPLETON — Appleton police are seeking information on a Monday afternoon theft at Sacred Heart Church, 222 E. Fremont St. A man wearing a hat and long coat stole a church employee’s black wallet and black coupon organizer from a purse inside an office drawer, police say. He came in through the church’s east entrance around 12:45 p.m. and left through the building’s north side doors. The church was open at the time. Full Story: Post Crescent
